Mingus Valley bucks were bred for both show and production. They possess excellent pedigrees from some of the top Nubian herds in the country. We bottle raise them, so they are gentle and love people.
Mingus Valley Boy Named Sue, "SuSu", is a retained yearling buck from Silverfire Schwag, x Silverfire Moonshine Vengeance. Schwag is a first freshener; udder shown at right after 8 hours of fill (excuse the poor clipping job... it was VERY cold!) She shows very good attachment in escutcheon, foreudder and sides. He has been DNA verified.
Susu was Reserve Champion at the 2025 Casa Grande buck show. He is a tri-colored buck that shows good dairy character, correct legs and feet and good breed character in the head and ears. And, he produced more does than bucks!
Silverfire Schwag carries sought-after bloodlines Woest-Hoeve and Goldthwaite. Her dam, Rusty Star Honky Tonk Angel is now a Permanent Grand Champion.

Outlaw has been DNA verified and he impressed us immediately with his strong bone composition and breed character. His dam was a first freshener this year but showed a very promising udder assembly, and consistently placed 2nd or 3rd in the senior yearling class at the Pima County Fair.
