About Us

 We love goats! Our Nubians are lovingly cared for, enjoy the mountain views, sunshine and fresh air, and we enjoy watching our goats graze and play on our 4-acre ranch. We couldn't be more blessed. 

Denice raised Nigerian Dwarf Goats from 1984 to 1999 in Mansfield, Texas under the herd name MunchRanch. After nearly 25 years as a cable and telecom corporate executive, she took early retirement and she and Gary decided to settle down in the foothills of the Mingus Mountains in Northern Arizona.  They chose Nubians due to their high butterfat content and distinctive breed characteristics. Denice has been a licensed dairy goat judge since 1989 and has used that experience to breed the highest quality Nubians.

We've raised 6 kids together (the two-legged kind!) and enjoy time with our 8 grandchildren, who also love to visit and play with the goats. We also own and show AKC registered dogs... 2 miniature bull terriers (Lagnappe's Boudin Baby Wiley and GCH Benchmark Maverick's Need for Speed), a Russell Terrier (GCHS Konita Kimber She's a Pistol) and a toy poodle (GCH Custom Pixie Shadow). Our critter menagerie brings us great joy and purpose.
